If you decide to spend a few days in our house located in Alta Garrotxa, very close to the natural park of the volcanic zone, it will allow you, in addition to hiking, cycling and other outdoor activities, to get to know the volcanoes and its creation in much greater depth.
For this and if you want to live a unique experience, we suggest you visit the Espai Cràter, located on the Puig del Roser volcano where you can learn a little more about volcanoes from inside one of them.
The new Espai Cràter building is conceived as one more element of the experience and has a totally interactive exhibition, designed for all ages.
The exhibition is structured in several areas and it extensively explains the volcanoes of La Garrotxa and the world, as well as the particular relationship between volcanoes and their environment... and it does so through various exhibition languages: audiovisuals, immersive experiences, photographs, virtual reality or video mapping. It also has a 15 m2 model that explains the formation of La Garrotxa, with fun proposals and many other surprises that will not leave you indifferent!
You can visit the space and the exhibition during a wide time slot, from Monday to Sunday. Guided tours are regularly offered on weekends and family workshops are scheduled monthly.
